Beating 2nd placed Nathalee by only 1 point, TC emerged as the winner of the first 98.1/Banks Sweet Soca competition.

Beating 2nd placed Nathalee by only 1 point, TC emerged as the winner of the first 98.1/Banks Sweet Soca competition.
Singing Hot Sun and Riddim, TC oozed confidence and handled her performance with the class of a seasoned performer. TC concentrated on delivering the song, avoiding the usual "call and response" which sometimes tends to take away from the flow of the song. This strategy played well in her favour.

3rd place ($5,000) - 541 points - Mikey - I in dat

The other competitors were Sir Ruel, Statement and Khiomal.
